A Sky Burst From Aquarius

It’s not easy to describe the astounding mixture of energies beginning to burst forth through the sign of Aquarius for the next several months. Neptune passing through this sign since 1998 has also been joined by Chiron and Jupiter. These three energies will merge tightly in May and June of this year and bring with them a blend of both real and illusory hopes for humanity. Determining what is truly solid and genuinely possible and what is but a smoke screen of deceptive promises without substance will be the challenge because we are dealing with Neptune. Economic and political woes and challenges notwithstanding, I am choosing to focus on something that is genuinely possible right now.

Chiron in Aquarius brings a potential for bridging from the scientific realms to the imaginative realms of Neptune. Chiron may be linking us from the physical to the meta-realms where new forms of healing are not only possible but actually emerging from the caves (Chiron’s laboratory) of hard-core research.

Jupiter brings expansiveness to this emergence and spreads it far and wide through the airy realm of Aquarius’ latest link with humanity, the inter-net. The global community is able to receive new information with lightening-like speed because of so many technological advances in the communications fields. It is certainly a time of entertaining new possibilities in many spheres, and especially in the realm of the healing arts.

I’ve always seen Aquarius as that place in the great zodiacal wheel where synthesis occurs. Envision a circle of powerful individuals, each bringing to that circle their own special gifts. No one individual needs to stand above or below the others. All are equal but different in their contributions to the whole. The whole is strengthened by the individual power of each component part. Aquarius moves the collective force into the future when all are working towards the common good of the whole. This is my ideal vision of Aquarius.

I have found a wonderful example of this principle at work in a new film recently premiered in London, The Living Matrix. It is a film on the new science of healing. Greg Becker, the director, traveled across the globe interviewing top scientists, researchers, and practitioners about their cutting-edge work and experiences in how and why healing occurs. What he conveys to the film audience is an exciting new paradigm shift that builds in force and strength because of the work of so many individuals coming to the same conclusions synergistically.

Mystics and shamans have been able to experience the oneness of life by bridging the different levels of perception while in altered states of consciousness. Science is now validating these subjective states through the study of quantum physics. The Living Matrix shows how these two realms have merged and how modern medicine can now take a giant leap forward in benefiting us all. This great web of life, that the movie clearly conveys, surrounds us and moves through us, and is ever accessible to us. The Aquarian sky burst is wide open right now. It’s a good time to take advantage and avail ourselves of all the new discoveries and shifts that are opening us to the greater realms of the universe that we are a living part of.
