Tracking the Soul

Joe Landwehr

Some years ago, my friend and astrology colleague Joe Landwehr decided to do fewer chart readings and instead to start teaching people to track their own souls and map out their own paths in life. It takes some courage to be an explorer of such personal territory, not following in anyone’s footsteps but your own. Would you do it?

Well, here’s a very good opportunity to take a few days out to gain a deeper connection with your soul and new keys of understanding that could unlock some of the mysteries of your life journey so that they begin to make more sense. You’ll be supported in your quest towards self-discovery by a clear, wise and conscious guide.

I have been privileged to know Joe since the mid-90s when we were were both studying medical astrology in Sante Fe with Dr. Ingrid Naiman. Since then, Joe has gone on to create his own publishing houseAncient Tower Press and his own teaching program The Astropoetic School of Soul Discovery. I am very pleased and proud to present this opportunity to my readership to learn from a master.

Tracking the Soul

‘Tracking the Soul: with an Astrology of Consciousness’ is a three-day workshop that includes three preparatory lessons with Joe, an extraordinary astrologer, counselor and teacher. The prior lessons will enable you to get the most value from the workshop itself which is to be held in a beautiful woodland retreat center in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks this coming November (15-18).

Joe has years of experience under his belt in not just astrology, but yogic philosophy, Jungian psychology, Native American teachings and many other streams of spiritual exploration. He has written three books: ‘The Seven Gates of Soul’, ‘Astrology and the Archetypal Power of Numbers’ and ‘Tracking the Soul With An Astrology of Consciousness’ (on which this workshop is based).

I’ll now let Joe himself tell you more about his workshop:

Thank you Genevieve!  This is the second time we’ve run this workshop and we hope the new format will make it even more engaging for the special folk who join us. If you’re interested, please sign up soon so that we can send out your copy of my book and the first of three advance lessons. The lessons are customized for each person, based on their familiarity (or not) with astrology and the chakra system. Each includes an interesting assignment, and a follow-up 90-minute phone (or Skype) consultation.

Workshop with Joe

The workshop itself is very experiential. We’ll be integrating the exquisite spiritual psychology of the seven chakras with an intimately personal, image-based approach to astrology called astropoetics. I aim to bring the theory of the astrochakra system into real life application in relation to core issues chosen by the participants. Limited to 12, the workshop will give each person ample opportunity to be the loving center of group attention while also allowing plenty of time for integration.

To supplement our group work, there will be an opportunity for individual crystal healings and daily yoga classes oriented around chakra work with my assistants Nia and Sara. An evening of guided dance will encourage us to move some of the revitalizing energy we’ll likely be bringing up to the surface. There’ll be time to enjoy some easy walks around the retreat property, share delicious meals, soak in the hot tub, tell stories around the fire circle, and if weather permits we’ll host an optional cleansing sweat lodge to close our time together.
